Welcome to
Nestled deep in our hidden water-mill valley, an invisible treehouse awaits to welcome you…
Master craftsman Martin has single-handedly made another amazing space! Templar Treehouse has been made from recycled and re-used treasures. It sleeps four very comfortably: two adults in a double bed and two small people in the mezzanine with a sloping rooftop!
The treehouse is situated in its own private mill garden with a pond and rowing boat (life jackets provided), and riverwalk — bring wellies! There is also an outside fully-equipped kitchen area with a two-ring gas hob, sink, and outside shower with hot and cold water, fridge-freezer, table, bench seating, and a fire pit on which you can BBQ or toast marshmallows.
Templar comes complete with its own private hot tub underneath the treehouse, swinging sofa, table, and chairs. Climbing up the rustic stairs leads you to a triangular balcony where you can enjoy the views. Heading out? Why not take the slide for a quicker route down.
The treehouse is furnished with wooden floors, two comfy leather armchairs, a table, a wood-burning stove, a double bed, and full-length windows giving you excellent wildlife and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The kitchenette has tiled under-floor heating, an antique Hygena kitchen unit with fine bone china, cocktail glasses, a shaker, recipe books, cutlery, a microwave, mini oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, and a kitchen sink. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen outside (under a covered area).
The private bathroom is tiled with under-floor heating and fitted with a toilet, sink, and a shower room with an electric towel radiator.
If you climb up the small ladder, you will find a mezzanine with a sloping roof and two small single mattresses, and full-length triangular windows (this room is suitable for children only, as it has restricted headroom).
Buck the reindeer will serenade you with a welcome and tell a joke or two. Numerous books and board games are provided, along with a few surprises!
We provide bedding, toiletries, towels, robes and firewood (for the inside wood burning stove only )
(You need to bring hot-tub and beach towels. Charcoal and firewood for the fire pit are available from the village shop 1 mile away.)
